The Pat Tillman Foundation was created in 2004 in honor of former Arizona Cardinals star Pat Tillman. Pat Tillman left his career in the NFL to serve in the Middle East. While serving in the Middle East, Pat Tillman sacrificed his life for our country.
Today, the Pat Tillman Foundation remembers the sacrifice he made and looks to make an impact in the lives of promising veterans and their spouses. Veterans and their spouses that share similar characteristics to Pat including leadership, academic potential and drive are awarded scholarships through the Pat Tillman Foundation.
In December 2015, Midwest Equity Mortgage, LLC partnered with the Pat Tillman Foundation in a fundraiser to support these students as they pursue their degrees in higher education. The Matching Challenge was designed for Midwest Equity Mortgage, LLC to match up to $15,000 in dollar-to-dollar donations during a 48-hour time span. This fundraiser was able to raise nearly $50,000 for the Pat Tillman Foundation scholarships.
Thank you to the Pat Tillman Foundation for allowing us to partner with you for such an amazing cause. We look forward to fundraising with you in the future.
